INDITREAT® TECHNOLOGY
The IndiTreat® family of functional IVD tests is based on tumoroids (3D microtumors) from cell clusters out of patient tumors – typically obtained with a needle biopsy of a patient’s metastases. Hundreds of tumoroids are generated in the laboratory, replicating the functional characteristics and heterogeneity of the original tumor.
The IndiTreat® process exposes the tumoroids to different drugs and drug combinations, assessing their impact on the tumoroid growth.
This assessment is based on AI and machine learning based image analysis, and compared to a reference population to classify the sensitivity of that specific tumor to each of the drugs and drug combinations. The 2cureX Convolutional Neural Network combines the image data in a dynamic analysis and converts them into a classification of sensitivity to treatment- presented in a patient report.
